The Magic Boyz

The Magic Boys: Well that’s how my mom knows Harry and Ron. I had the privilege of reading the Prisoner of Azkaban (3rd book) in the year 2000, before book 1 or 2 and was wondering what all the hoopla was about. Here we are eleven years later and I guess my imagination of the fight scenes is so much better and colorful than Mr. David Yates (Director of the Deathly Hallows).


We are back after watching the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 and we did shed a couple of tears ( well the 3D glasses were so bad or was it the screen) for Snape and for Neville. I would love to understand how someone who has not read the books liked and understood the movie series. I bet they would act as if they were hit by the Confundus Charm)

The movie did have its 3D moments but sadly I can’t remember them . I still rate Lord of the Rings- the book much higher than the HP series or for that manner any other book. The Wheel of Time comes a close second.

Someday in the near future I will do a movie marathon- all 8 movies in a day. I think I liked it much better when we did not know how it would all end and every Ram, Sham and Gansham speculating if Snape was gay or if Malfoy was Harry’s step bro and of course if Dumbledore was alive even after being hit by the spell -avada kedavra. Aaah those were the days. I am sure Rowling aunty will come up with the next season of Harry Potter or is it going to be Albus Severus Potter .
