The song turned out to be “ Gasolina” ~ Daddy Yankee.Who in his right mind would dedicate such a *u*** song to his sweetheart ? I couldn’t comprehend a word of what the band was singing *screaming, it goes something like this zumbale mambo pa' que mi gata prenda los motores Que se preparen que lo que viene es pa que le den, Duro! Of course it’s in Spanish, but I love it. ;) I never could understand the excitement or the hype surrounding dedications, especially on the Radio. I bet almost all of the time the person to whom the song is dedicated to would not be tuned in and moreover who cares ? All we want is some pleasant music to soothe our ears not some XYZ blabbering that he wants to dedicate the next song to L, M, N, O, Q and oh I forgot Pee. Oh yes I could always listen to my favorite songs on the Ipod or the mp3 player but I would rather tune into the radio because of the Q factor .The feeling that something different, something unexpected might happen. Like the one time I heard a caller screaming obscenities at Dr Love , poor thing she didn’t know which was the “cut the caller” button and she pressed the “applause” button instead. So when he was screaming “ Your Radio station *beep *beep and bigger *beep* we could hear people applauding in the background ….hehe that was funny and what about the time a loos caller wanted the RJ to talk to his dog Rocky , yeah , I know that is not so weird, the weird part was when the dog started barking in the background and to me it seemed to say" I wanna be on air , I wanna be on air". Would you get that on your iPod? Would you ?
