Yep I couldn't find Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time Series nor any of Alistair Maclean's books at the annual Strand Book Festival, which was held at the Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium.When I enquired, they said that they were yet to open the box which contained Robert's books. Oh sigh* will go next weekend.

I didn't feel like reading those books because they were written by Christopher Tolkien. He doesn't quite match up to good ol' JRR.
No No he's edited stuff and as you put it " good old' JRR " has written most of the stuff.I mean he invented so many languages, a whole civilization a universe....Vc swoons... Now I can't think of anything else... elves and gnomes and ...Crash...
